The “Bittersweets” band was formed in Cleveland, Ohio and consisted of Judi Rodgers – vocals / guitar, Louie Dula – drums, Marilyn Rodgers (Marilyn Rodgers) Green) – keyboards, Penny Cash – bass and Rosi Hollo (Rosi Hollo) – guitar. Their debut “The Hurtin ‘Kind” b / w “Summertime” was released on the label “Tema” in 1965. In the same year, they released “What a Lonely Way to Start the Summertime” b / w “Mark My Words” (already under the name “The Bitter Sweets”) on the label “Cameo”. – via guitaristka
