“Music videos are so cliché. They all objectify women. Like I was watching Warrant’s video for ‘Cherry Pie.’ That just disgusted me. I know some people try to make fun of the whole use of women in videos, but they end up doing the same thing. I quit my last band over a conflict over a song. It was called ‘She’s So Sexual.’ It was written by someone else in the band, and I just refused to sing it. It seemed like it was from the perspective of a bunch of guys standing around watching a woman go by. It also used words like ‘baby’ and ‘sweetie.’ I didn’t write it and that’s not how I would express myself, so I quit.”
